Interviews in Vienna regarding public transportation via autonomous buses

Posted on 2021-06-07 by catapultproject.eu

The first focus group in the CATAPULT project gathers today to share experiences, requirements and wishes regarding our future public transportation; autonomous buses. On this occasion focus will be on people over the age of 65. They have been invited to the study in co-operation with aspern.mobil LAB. The study will take place in Seestadt Aspern in Vienna and participants can arrive to the study via an autonomous bus shuttle. They can also participate by telephone.

The method includes a questionnaire about demographics and the participants’ personal mobility behaviour as well as a qualitative interview covering topics such as barriers and wishes for public tranport use and the needs and expectations towards autonomus shuttles. The input that is gathered in the study will be an important contribution when forming policies and solutions for future mobility solutions.
